As you may know, Redbubble is an awesome Print-On-Demand (POD) platform that enables users with artistic skills to monetize their art by selling it on different products, like T-Shirts, Masks, Mugs, Hoodies, Stickers, et cetera.
We have already created 200+ designs and aiming to upload hundreds of designs on the platform. It is fun!
In this article, I will show you how to set up Google Analytics for your Redbubble shop. Starting with 2021, Google has tweaked a little the Analytics interface, but things are not so different after all.
Are you ready to get to work?
Setup the Google Analytics Account and Property
#1 The first thing you have to do is to create a free Google Analytics Account by following this link.
#2 Next, choose an account name. I named my account 99xp (the brand I created to sell products).
Leave all the below options enabled and hit the Next button.
#3 Now you have to create a property name for your Redbubble shop. You can call it RedBubble. You can track different websites under the same Analytics account, by creating different properties.
#4 Now click on the show advanced options and enable the ”Create a Universal Analytics property”.
Choose the link to your shop, without the https://.
Now press Next.
#5 Setup the business information. The options are pretty straight forward, you don’t need my help here. After you have finished, press ”Create”.
#6 Your property is now created successfully. On the left corner, click on the dropdown menu which is located under ”Property”. Write down your UA ID.
Add the Analytics tracking code to your Redbubble account
#7 Go to your Redbubble Dashboard by accessing this link.
#8 From the sidebar on the left, go to Google Analytics.
#9 Insert the UA Google Analytics ID and press Save
This is it. Save Changes and you can now monitor the Redbubble statistics via your Analytics account. Enjoy!
